Skeletal system: skeletal system for kids
This is made up all bones in human body.
1. It gives support and shape to the body.
2. It protects the internal organs.
3. It helps in the movement of the body.Number of bones:

Bones are made up of calcium. Newblood cells are produced by the redbone marrow inside of the bones.
female bones are lighter in weight compared to male bones.
Muscular System: Muscular System for kids
It consists of various muscles that can help aperson to move, speak and chew. They control heart beat, breathing and digestion. It consists of 600 muscles. It is made up of proteins.
Three types of muscles are
1. Voluntary muscles/skeletal muscles
2. In voluntary muscles/smooth muscles
3. Specialized muscles.
Voluntary muscles: – These can be controlled consciously. They are attached with bones with tendons directly or indirectly. They work in opposite pairs like one contract and other relaxes to produce body movements like walking, eating, facial expressions.
Involuntary muscles: – These are present in the walls of internal body organs and perform actions such as forcing food through intestines,pumping blood through blood vessels.
Specialized tissue: – muscles of heart it helps in heartbeat.
Digestive system:digestive system organs and functions
the energy we need for our body to do activities comes from the food we eat. digestion is the process of breaking down food into smaller particles which can be absorbed by the body.
The food is chewed in the mouth and mixed with saliva.
The food ingested moves through the food pipe to the stomach.
The bile juices produced by the liver helps in breaking down of food in stomach.
The food from stomach enters the small intestine and absorption of food takes place.
Then the undigested food enters the large intestine and further water is absorbed and turns to faeces. Then the faeces goes out of the body through the anus.
Respiratory system: human body for kids
the process of breathing is called respiratory system.
The main parts of respiratory system are nose, wind pipe and the lungs. The air enters our body through nose and fine hair in our nostrils help to filer the air.
Then fresh air enters the lungs. Through the lungs the oxygen present is in the air is passed into the blood. Whereas the carbon di oxide is passed from the blood to the lungs and is exhaled.
Diaphragm is the Skeletal muscle that separates abdomen from chest. It creates vacuum effect which pulls the air into the lungs.
Nervous system: human body for kids
the nervous system consists of brain, spinal cord and nerves. the brain is soft and delicate organ covered by a protective skull. messages are carried to and from the brain through the spinal cord.
Circulatory system: human body for kids
the heart is on the left side of your chest between the two lungs it is fist size organ protected by ribcage.
It beats from 70 to 80 times in a minute and pumps blood to all parts of the body. It moves in tubes called blood vessels.
Blood in arteries carries digested food and oxygen to all parts of the body.And veins carry impure and carbon dioxide blood from all parts of the body to heart. The heart and blood vessels make circulatory system.
Excretory System: human body for kids
Excretory system removes the waste from our body. The excretory system
consists of kidneys, lungs and skin.
Kidneys:
It’s a bean shaped organ present on the either side of spine. It filters
blood from all waste products. It also maintains salt and water levels in our body.
They make a watery waste as urine and passed through bladder and is
squeezed out through urethra.
Lungs: Lungs help in excretion or exhaling bad air out of
body.
Skin: It removes waste water as sweat.
